Live/Gig Recording

Recording a live performance can be a great way of capturing your work.

£100 for up to 1 hours recording of 16 channels or fewer
£50 surcharge for every additional 8 channels.

This fee includes a digital recording rig. However, if the mixing console at the venue doesn’t have pre-fader direct outputs, then a mic splitter unit and preamps will have to be hired at additional cost.

Mixing of live performances is charged at my day rate of £200/day and will depend on the length of the set and channel count. Assume 3 days for a one hour set over 24-channels.

The Charlatans live at Glasgow Barrowlands, recorded and mixed by Mike Hillier.

Ed Harcourt live at The Convent, Stroud, live desk feed mixed by Mike Hillier.
